Mixed feelings about this
The location is prime . Friendly reception staff added to a pleasant check-in experience.
Room amenities fell short. We had limited towels and faced a blocked basin in the bathroom. Breakfast choices were lacking and service needs improvement.

The rooms are reasonably large with a view of the harbour, so that guests have essentials. I have to mention the warm breakfast with great-real barista coffee-as many and the temperature-scalding tea, for example. Outstandingly accommodating staff on night shift, and the ambience is quiet!

The units are spotless with harbour view. The atmosphere of the hotel is family.

Clean Rooms - Restaurant had quality food and great value breakfast, parking was a modest price and definetly would only stay there when in Newcastle

I liked this property - beautifully designed hotel.
I was offered a room with great views of Newcastle beach.

I liked the location near the beach and great cafes. The bed felt super comfy, essential for a good night's sleep. Our room had a clean vibe, which I appreciated. The check-in process was smooth. Sadly, the hotel had some quirks. The breakfast was below par, lacking variety and flavor. The parking situation felt insecure due to the roller door being unable to close, concerning. I also expected better room amenities. There were issues with an electric kettle left unclean. The highlights were the room comfort and location, but the dining options and parking security could use a serious rethink.

I really enjoyed the walk down to the point and across the various park and waterfront area.
The room I had no 326 looked onto a building site and not onto the Newcastle beach as advertised on the bookings site. The room was subject to traffic noice and was not what I expected.I am sure I will not use this hotel again.

An easy stroll to a number of venues around the cbd and beautiful harbor. The city has excellent facilities for cyclists and appears to promote and welcome cyclists throughout the area.
For a new building the linen appears very old and grey or grey that has been washed out. Stains on the towels with the hotel promoting hanging up your towels for the environment have you thinking are these fresh!!!

Dined at the bistro and indulged in some great seasonal dishes, savouring each bite like a true Newcastle foodie. The room was a gem too-super clean and quiet with plenty of storage, perfect for stashing away all the local goodies. Oh, and shoutout to the lovely staff.
Now, onto the cheeky stuff! I forked out for secure parking, but the roller door was flapping about like a bag in the wind-hardly secure! Plus, no alarm clock in sight despite a couple of requests, and the breakfast? Just woeful-overcooked and bland. I reckon this place needs a good rethink on value for money.

We didn't have very long there as we had to travel to Hunter Valley for a concert so had very limited time in the hotel. Bed very comfortable, staff were pleasant . overall had a comfortable stay
only thing was the doorstop in the bathroom . stubbed toe on it as right at the base of the toilet

Quiet location a few blocks from the railway station, good air conditioning. There were nice cafes located by the beach (the hotel is a little further away)
The 'studio' was a last minute offer, which I don't think is worth full price: just a regular hotel room with tea cooking facilities and a minibar (ie. a small fridge full of the hotel's own merchandise), a safe and an ironing board. The staff were friendly but somehow uninformed and helpless. They couldn't answer my question about Hunter Valley wine tasting tours with pickup from the hotel: “When you have decided what you want to see, you can hire a driver to take you”. The receptionist offered to 'google' the train timetable to Sydney for me (which was nice, but usually hotels have answers to those top-ten questions readily printed out, or at least a bookmark).
